Expert Answers about Lunette Ring Locks

  • Is Blaylock BLTL-60-40D Lunette Ring Lock Available Keyed Alike
  • The Blaylock # BLTL-60-40D isn't available with keyed alike locks, but you can purchase just the assembly that installs into the lunette ring, part # BLTL-60 by itself and purchase keyed alike locks separately. The Master Lock # ML312KA would be a good choice for a keyed alike lock. Simply choose the 'keyed alike' option from the drop down menu on the linked product page.

  • Do the Brophy Swiveling D-Rings Have Weep Holes
  • I have another solution but the Brophy Swiveling D-Ring Anchors part # RR6K-4 do not have weep holes designed into them. I agree that they are a great idea and should have them. I have installed these in the past and drilled my own holes to ensure proper drainage I then touched up the holes with clear spray paint to help keep rust away. The other option which does have weep holes to drain water and has the same capacity but you lose the Swiveling aspect is the etrailer D-Ring Tie Down...

  • When using the 10" Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly for 3.5 K Axles, Left Hand # 23-468 and Right Hand # 23-469, you will not need an actuator for the brakes to function on the trailer. An actuator is used to pressurize the hydraulic brake system so it is not needed for electric brakes. In order to function, the Nev-R-Adjust brakes will need to be wired to your trailer connector. The brakes will then receive it's signal from a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195,...
